Coin Magic Tricks - Use This Every Day Object to Delight and Astound Your Friends

Ever since we have all been young children, street magic has always been a fascinating experience for many to spectate upon. What is even more fascinating about street magic, is that you can learn how to do it too! With this simple, and easy to follow guide on coin magic tricks, you will be able to catch the attention of many as you show off your new found skills! As many street magicians say, you never tell your secrets of the trick, it will be all up to you who you decide to let in on your new magnificent tricks!

One of the oldest tricks in the book is to make a coin appear to be pushed through your leg. This is quite simple once you get the hang of it. Here are the step by step directions of what you need to accomplish this trick.

What You Will Need:

- a coin, preferably a quarter or half dollar

- you need to be in a sitting position

- a captivated audience

- a large square piece of cloth

Directions:

Step 1- Show your coin to your audience, then proceed to placing it on the top of your pant leg, around six inches above your knee. Hold the coin in place with your right thumb.

Step 2- Pinch the cloth underneath the coin, which will turn your coin upward, and will hide underneath the cloth.

Step 3- Place your left forefinger on the top of the fold. While you are doing this, your right hand fingers will straighten up, and your right thumb will then withdraw the coin from the fold and press it into your right finger palm.

Step 4- Take your right hand and immediately move it down and grasp the cloth between the fold, and slowly pull it through a circle you will make out of your thumb and forefinger. This will show that the coin is gone.

Step 5- Slap your left leg with your left hand.

Step 6- Reach your right hand under your leg, where you are still holding the coin, and produce the coin for the audience.

To give the best demonstration of this trick, everything needs to be done fast enough where your audience is captivated, and yet you can get away with your new found coin magic tricks. To keep a distraction with your audience, you can speak of what you are doing, as most street magicians do. This usually keeps the attention on what you are about to do, when you know all you are really doing, is tricking them with your coin magic!

Enjoy practicing this trick on family and friends, as your act will become perfect with practice. Have fun displaying your simple street magic trick virtually anywhere, and all the smiling faces which will result from your coin magic tricks.

How card tricks - three Types of maps tours

If you have seen Criss Angel or David Blaine on TV and now you have decided that you want to learn how to do street magic! The best place to start for most beginners is card tricks.

To get an idea of the kind of card tricks that you can focus, I have divided most of the card tricks in these three categories:

1. False bridge -Ah, the orlop deck, the pride and joy of children around the world. Of course, there are some amazing tricks that can be performed with a false deck. Many of these tips are easy, however. These are the genus tips cards that contain duplicate cards, cards with signs "tell - tale" on them and the like.

The benefits of these card tricks are that in most cases, they can usually be performed immediately, with minimal jurisdiction or a required learning effort. You remember the "rules" of the bridge, take them and perform the trick at any time.

The disadvantage is that the bridge can only perform a limited number of tours at best. Once you have the tip of death you will have no other use for the bridge.

It is also very difficult to mix thrown in a routine. One minute you will use an ordinary bridge for tips, and then, if you want to make a tour of the false deck, you will need to remove the false bridge. "Keep the guy, we must change the bridge because... error...". »

Of course, if you are good, you could probably change their convincing. And among false decks can be used for regular tips too.

It can also be expensive if you limit your magic to fake bridges. You will need to buy (or make) them for all the different styles of stuff that you want to perform. May correspond to lots of money.

2 Bridge prepared the -I am not a fan of that stuff, although some of them are my favorites. Essentially the bridge prepared tricks are tricks that require your bridge to set up before performing the trick. It can vary to be as simple as having the 4 ACEs from on top for all arranged bridge.

The most obvious advantage of this style of trick is that the results may be revolted. If you know how false shuffle, a bridge, you can make it look like the bridge is not preset, which leads to the only possible solution for the tip being reduced to nil. Therefore, in the eyes of the audience, your tip is "impossible". In other words, the magic.

The downside is that you can perform only safe one of these things like the tip of a routine departure, unless you have several established bridges in place. Yet again, which complicates things even if the result is usually worth. Instead, I usually starting in a routine with a bridge already implemented, make a tour of the ready bridge and then proceed to our next type of lift of the map.

3 Tour of sleight - needed efforts to learn the tour de Passe-passe. But as anything, the effort that you put in more you go out. These are the hardest types of tricks to learn and usually mix well with types 1 and 2. These are to manipulate cards with nothing more than your bare hands in most cases and require practice, practice, practice to get rid of it with success.

The best thing about this kind of stuff is that if there is a game of cards autour, you can do the magic. Any time, any place. You can search the bridge and start freaking people. Once you have learned a towers, you have learned for life. It is like a bicycle, seriously. He becomes memorized muscle and you can do so without effort.

The only disadvantage is that you have to spend some time and effort in learning the sleights. The way I learned is by repeating the towers, again and again, as something that has no need of my hands. Watch TV, have a conversation (or argument), or jogging on a treadmill. Sooner or later you don't realize even it is and then it is when you've memorized it!

If you want to know what type you use, I recommend to all three. from sleight of hand. This is what separates a magician of someone who has picked up a simple tour of their friends. Of course, if you do not want to be a magician, which is fair enough - but you will be super impressive if you make sleight of hand to the one or two tricks you want to perform.

The magic is entertainment. The guys think that wizards are cool, girls love the (how many times have I heard Criss Angel is super cool!) And sexy...) and it is just enormous pleasure.

Beginner Card Tricks - The Best Way to Be the Best Magician Your Area Has Ever Seen

The best thing about learning beginner card tricks is that they are easy to do and there are so many beautiful ones. I am not talking about those lame "pick a card and I will find it" tricks. I am talking about how to make cards float and how to turn a 5 of clubs into the ace of spades.

Although some beginner card tricks might be more difficult to perform than others, there is no doubt that a beginner can do them with a little bit of practice.

I will be giving you some tips on what to do when first starting out with beginner card tricks, then I will show you three of my favorite beginner card tricks that will get the audience going crazy!

My #3 Tip for Learning Beginner Card Tricks

DO NOT rush into things. Take the time to learn the trick. There is no hurry. Take a day or two to master the trick before you try it on someone and mess up. There is nothing more embarrassing than messing up on a trick right when you are trying to get started.

My #2 Tip for Learning Beginner Card Tricks

Believe that you are actually doing magic. How is anyone else suppose to believe that you are doing magic if you don't even believe it? When practicing your performance watch it in the mirror. The reason for this because the mirror shows you what the audience will be seeing, and it really does look like magic. This will help you believe you are actually doing magic.

My #1 Tip for Learning Beginner Card Tricks

JUST DO IT. When you are ready to perform a trick on somebody, then do it. Do not keep putting it off saying you need more practice. You know when you are ready. There is nothing more rewarding to a beginner magician than getting past the nerves and doing a great trick. So like I said. Just do it.

Coin Magic Tricks - Impress Your Friends and Learn How to do Magic

Imagine being able to impress your friends or even people you don't know with an amazing coin magic trick. Do a few coin magic tricks right and you'll be the center of attention with people pleading with you to tell them how it's done.

The thing about coin tricks is that the majority of people can only do the simple tricks that most already know, or can easily work them out. However, anyone can learn the advanced tricks that truly amaze. It just takes practice and of course the instructions for some of the best coin magic tricks around. All of the famous magicians had to start somewhere; David Copperfield, David Blaine, Derren Brown, the list goes on, and there's no reason why can't learn just a few of the tricks that they use.

Many card tricks and coin tricks make use of sleight of hand and this is where the majority of your practice will be needed. Learning the tricks is one thing, but having good sleight of hand is another. Furthermore, you should practice your timing during the tricks and the wording and chat that you do to grab your audiences' attention whilst you carry out the trick. This will all become second nature after a while of practicing.

Although I would say I'm pretty good at coin magic tricks and card tricks now, when I first started I could hardly shuffle a deck of cards never mind impress people with tricks and use sleight of hand. In fact the very first coin trick I learnt was so simple that anyone could do this right now. Here it goes:

- Pick up two coins and place one in each hand. A coin in the center of one of your hands, and the other coin also in the palm (on the other hand) but nearer to the thumb.

- As you turn your hands over and hit down on the table the coin that was nearer the thumb should flick under the other hand. Both coins are now both under the same hand (hopefully!).

- Ask your audience where the coins are. They will normally say that a coin is under each hand, with which you left both hands from the table to reveal both coins had been under the same hand.

Simple, don't you think!

There are plenty more coin magic tricks that are far more impressive, and learning them is really exciting. The same goes for card tricks.

Impress your friends with great magic tricks by learning from my recommended resource at Coin Magic Tricks.

Magic Tricks With Cards

You have seen them tons of times, but have you ever wondered how the magician did the trick? The following are the most basic and probably the most used beginning magic tricks with cards ever preformed.

The first of the magic tricks with cards is the tried and true "Find the Card." The only thing needed is a deck of cards and good acting skills. To start this trick say the old order, "Pick a Card, Any Card." Then having a volunteer choose a card which you then "pretend" to lose it among the rest of the deck. This is the card that you find magically later.

The real trick to this beginner card trick is remembering where another card is and you inserting the chosen card by the memorized card. So when you have the volunteer place the card within the card deck, you need to make sure, the deck when you split it, is where the memorized card is. So when you go to pull the chosen card all that you need to do is keep an eye for the memorized card.

This following is one of many simple magic tricks is called " The Four Acres." This is fun one to learn, it takes a bit of practice but is worth it. This one you need to start with the four aces on top of the deck. Then while the crowd is watching shuffle the deck but you need to make sure that the "aces stay on top."

Have a member of the audience come cut the deck four times starting from the right; make sure that the quarter that the aces are in is on the right. Then have the person take the three cards from the top of the pile that is on the left and place them on the bottom.

Then take the three cards from the top of the pile, place one on each of the remaining piles. Have the person do it over again with the remaining three piles then have them turn over the top card of all four piles. They should all be the aces.

The next magic tricks with cards calls for ruining a good deck of cards but it is a good one. It is called "4 10s into 4 aces" To prepare for this trick, you need to start out with removing the tens along with the aces. Taking the 10 and ace of hearts and glue them together back to back with a glue stick (no glue bubbles.) This is the "full card." Taking the other three Aces, cut them diagonally, leave the 10's in one piece. Taking a part of each ace and match it with it's 10 glue them together. Then you are ready.

To start the trick display the prepared cards so that the cards overlap and only the 10's show. Be sure that the full card is the card that everyone sees as "the end of the fours cards."

Then you just collapse the cards down to a single deck. Meanwhile distract the audience with acting as though you are doing magic to do the change. Meanwhile maneuver the "full card and flip it over" make sure that the card stay in the correct spot. Do not forget to rotate the cards so the Aces now show when you show the audience that you changed the 10's into 4 aces.

Cool Magic Card Trick - find Aces

Here is an example of how to change your magic card trick using a simple technique you can do.

First, before your turn, prepare the bridge while the Aces are the cards tenth, eleventh, twelfth and treiziemes from the top of the bridge. A nine spot should be the ninth card down. Then, you are now ready for the tip.

You say to your audience: "magicians and card players use as all the time.". Find a few Aces. I could pass the bridge and look for them, but it is not magic and it is not half as much fun as playing with numbers. Can I get a number between ten and twenty years? »

Then, map count you down to your known as spectator, on a single number at a time. For example, the number of your audience is seventeen. You then say: "seventeen were two figures, one and seven - what is eight.". Always add the two digits.

Pick up maps you Treaty and face down once more, count them out loud that you are dealing. Now, the word "eight", you turn the face of the card to. It will be an Ace. He put on the table. The remaining cards in your hand are now falling on the stack that you just processed. These cards are all covered and placed on top the rest of the bridge.

You say: "it's an Ace." Find more the same way. Can I have another number between ten and twenty years? »

Then, repeat the treatment as before. Count the called number. The total of these figures. Pick up all the cards and treat them to the total. Go back another Ace. Handmade cards are falling on just treated cards. All are picked up and placed on the deck.

This for the third time, and back the third Ace. Then, you say: "the last card is the most difficult." At this time, your high card is a nine spot. Before he found, ask for more help, such as: "Please help me." Everyone says 'Ace Come Up.' "Invite all your audiences to say.

You click on the map a few times, and back this face. This is a new one. You then say to the audience: "Thank you anyway, I work alone now." This is a new one. This means that more counting. Nine... »

Card, count as you treat. The ninth is your last Ace.

Magic Card Tricks

Of all the different kinds of magic tricks that you can find, the easiest and most varied ones are those that use cards. The number of magic card tricks available reaches the thousands; any of them can be taken for granted. Card tricks are a dime a dozen, so it takes a good magician to make a card trick an unforgettable one. As with any magic trick, things always start with the magician. Here are some tips for would-be magic card trick aficionados.

Pace Yourself

Cards can be quite tricky, and the first step is establishing a pace that makes card dealing seem effortless in the eyes of your audience. The only thing that gives a good card trick away is if you break the rhythm of the routine, which is most probably the part where your sleight-of-hand action is done. Practice in front of a mirror as fast or as slow as you can, trying to get a feel of how you move the cards in order to perfect the illusion.

Practice Makes Perfect

Never practice in front of an audience until you have mastered the trick to the letter. The process of creating magic is a mental one, and you need to know the way a trick is done, step-by-step. Once this is accomplished, your hands will follow until your illusion is seamless.

Try It Out

The real test begins in front of a discriminating audience. Being watched can be quite unnerving, but this is the only way to see if what you have practiced really works. You have to get a feel for the audience, as well as what words or spiels to use in order to get them under your spell. Try it out. Getting their feedback will be valuable in your next performance. After the initial thrill, the rest, as they say, is history.

Magic Tricks - choose a card, any card

How many times have you heard "choose a card, any card.."? Everyone of the total novice experienced pro used this slogan to encourage someone to choose a card. In fact, it is not a bad way to start a card trick; It is what you do after uttering these magic words that determine if you are one of many or one of the few talented.

Good magicians know the value of production of a map of what appears to be a combined bridge carefully. The secret of course, is that even if the bridge can be well mixed, the selected card is followed by the moment wherever it is placed in the bridge. No card counting tips here. My daughter recently showed me a map tour, a friend taught him. It was the eve of old... choice, a map, put the back in a pack of cards, set cards in several rows, point to the row that contains my card and I can take the line a second time when cards are redealt lines even once. My daughter has my card, thank God, but I didn't have the heart or want to tell him that the effect that she showed me was one of the first effects that I learned many years ago.

Unfortunately, the more truly impressive card tricks are not self-working. This is not to say that the self-working card tricks may not be impressive; John Scarne, Karl Fulves and Edward Glassman are three great magicians who have all written books on the subject. But the public is not read their books... Make the other magicians. My first book of "real" magic was "Scarne on card tricks" of John Scarne, and I always return from time to time when I'm working on a new effect.

If you want to be a true success in magic, specifically the magic card, then you must learn some basic sleights. This is what will be your magic separate the typical magic "prison". Magic of the prison? Yes, this is what I call the self-working card tricks that everyone knows. And how do we know these things? In fact, I had a friend who has "forgotten" to pay a ticket, has picked up on a mandate and spent the weekend in jail pending an appearance before a judge. I taught him had just enough on the magic of the card; more specifically, how to perform a double lift and how to control a card to the top of the terrace, it was so far before the other mayhem in terms of capacity that he left his brief incarceration a legend.

He still talks about how everyone, even if they were a public slightly in captivity, is its capability with a card game.

His adventure has taught me something more... If you take the time to master some sleights, you can really "wow" an audience, abeit a small audience with your ability. Learn how to "control" of a map where it is inserted into the deck to the top of the terrace. It is not difficult to learn. Also learn to properly perform a double-lift. Yet again, with a little practice, it is not difficult to learn. Find a good false shuffle, you can control the card towards the top of the terrace and then make it appear as if anything is really fair and random.

Work on what is commonly called a "Wizard force". You can perform some of the most remarkable imaginable effect with the strength of the magician a good, and it is not something that will take weeks of practice to master.

Here are some of the Basic. Armed with the ability to 'control' maps, you can also control the action and literally do card tricks as you go along. Good magicians can say "choose a card - any card", without a clue where they go from there and totally surprising. I you encouraged to learn a thing or two on the basics and see where need you, see how good you can be, and to see how many people you can amaze and impress with your capabilities found.

Two Really Easy Magic Tricks to Learn

If you are looking for a couple of really easy magic tricks to learn that you can try on your friends then the two following ones will be perfect for you. Some people are unable to master anything to complicated and so coming up with a couple of easy options is a great idea. Of course, you'll need to do a bit of practice first - watching yourself perform in front of a mirror is a good way - but then you'll be ready for show time! Both you and your friends will be surprised at how effective these simple tricks are. Give them a go now and check the reaction of your audience.

The two tricks here are both very simple to execute and will simply use a little bit of misdirection in order to make sure that your audience is not focusing on the little tricks you are pulling off. So don't look the other way while I'm showing you what to do - that's something your audience should be doing when you're performing this magic.

The first trick goes as follows. Grab yourself a deck of cards and get someone to pick out any card from the deck. When they are trying to remember it very sneakily turn the bottom card over and then flip the whole deck. Use a fresh pack if you want to make extra sure that no-one thinks you've marked them beforehand.

Now get then to replace the card anywhere into the deck without you looking at where they are putting it. Then find their card behind your back by turning over the top card that you had already flipped and hand the cards back to the person. They will flick through them and their card will be turned the opposite way from the others.

Next try this easy trick. Shuffle up the cards once of twice. Then have a sneaky look at the bottom card without them seeing you. Now drop the cards from the bottom onto the ground and ask someone to say stop once you have reached the tenth or so card.

Keep an eye on the bottom card that you memorised and then pile the cards that you dropped with the bottom one to the top. Now show them this top card but not yourself and have them reshuffle the pack without you looking. All you have to do now is baffle them by finding their card using magic.

Teach Me A Magic Trick - Paper Tricks

Performing magic tricks has always been one of the most popular past times enjoyed by a lot of people from all walks of life. There are various kinds of magic tricks. One of many kinds of the usual scene-stealing tricks is a paper trick. There could be innumerable ways to deliver a paper trick. Here are a few of those paper tricks that can be easily learned by a new magic aficionado:

1. A paper-tearing trick is a clever method of tearing and bringing back the form of a sheet of paper. You can do this trick mostly on tissue papers. This could be a little different compared to other paper tricks.

You will hand out two kinds of tissue papers; it can be color white or black. You will tear both the papers and fold them into tiny squares. When he opens the paper, the two are still there, but surprisingly it is formed into a large white square and in the center, there is a black square.

You wonder why there are no torn traces on the paper. The have an idea on the trick, the restored paper is already formed by sticking a black square on each side of the large white paper. On a particular side, the black part is paste all three edges and one edge is left open.

The paper formed is then folded into a tiny square, and the outside have an opening. It is then laid on the table for about 5 seconds. You will get the restored form and place it behind his back.

The paper is divided into four pieces of squares, and the whole is bundle is again shown in the front, the tricky part on this is that you will make a little wave in his hands, making the two torn pieces together, and then slowly opening the restored torn paper. This takes a narrow chance to poke the torn pieces into the secret pocket. Ending the trick with showing both hands and they will find nothing.

2. Another trick is called the generous offer. You will need a piece of paper and hand it out to a person. Ask him to tear it into quarters. It must be torn equally, you will then get the papers and give him back a quarter of it. He then thinks that the task is easy enough, and then he may ask for a prize for doing it.

You will then applaud him and give his prize of another quarter of the paper. From there you gave the person one of the four pieces of the paper, which was supposed to be a quarter also of the sheet of paper. You can use a different way to approach this trick in using slang expressions of offering or donate two bits. In this approach two pieces of paper is given to him, as it presents the two bits you said.

3. The next trick you may learn is the look easy trick. Find a sheet of paper and tear it in two thirds. It is required not totally tear the end sections. It should be a little loose, and the outcome will be a slit parallel sheet of paper with three flaps.

Give it to the person and tell him to have a hold on the edge of the flaps and hide one in each hand. From the center of the paper, you will make him tear the end flaps. It seems to be a piece of cake, but it is not. When he tries to work on it, only one edge of the flap is torn. The pull is purposely even distributed.

4. The floating paper ball needs to be performed under proper situations because it requires a little experiment. You need to crumple one piece of paper into a ball and you will have to hold it using your left hand with your right hand on top of it. You will remove your left hand, and have the paper just floated in the air moving upward to your right hand.

The trick is done because of the black silk thread. The thread is placed over your right ear forming a loop in one of the ends. The other end is tied loosely to your black coat button. They do not have the idea that you squeezed it around on the loose end, before the paper ball is formed.

When you move your right hand upward, you will use your right thumb to catch the thread. You will then draw the thread tightly so that when you take off your hand, the ball automatically floats. Move your hand forward, then raise the ball. Bringing it back lowers it. On the last part, you will have to get the ball on your left hand and untying it from the thread. The right hand brushing your hair will lift the loop from your ear, and the thread just falls down on the floor, without one noticing it.

Learn Card Tricks - Become a Magician

Learn Card tricks if you want to become a Magician. Card Tricks
are an essential part of any Magician's performance. Some require
difficult sleight-of-hand techniques, most just need you to
distract your audience while you 'do the deed', many can be done
in full view. If you learn a few simple techniques then you can
make up your own card tricks!

The False Shuffle is one of many and possibly the easiest to do.
With it you can appear to fully shuffle the deck whilst actually
maintaining the top card in place or keep the bottom card in
place or move the top card to the bottom or bottom card to the
top. In all of these moves, keep the backs of the cards towards
the audience or they might spot the selected card during the
shuffle.

Keeping the top card in place; hold the pack in your left hand,
face down, tilted at about 45 degrees with the backs toward your
right hand. With your right hand remove the top half of the pack.
Flip the pack upright with your left thumb so that the backs of
the cards rest against your finger tips. Using the same thumb,
start to detach small packets of cards from the half pack held by
you right hand so that they drop alternately on top and bottom of
the deck. The pack is alternately supported by the thumb and the
tips of the other fingers as it is rocked to allow cards to drop
on either side. Your forefinger should be bent against the top
card to prevent it accidentally moving when you are dealing the
last package. Continue this until all cards are back in the pack
- making sure that the last cards go on the top.

Move a card from top to bottom; as above but make sure the last
card goes to the bottom.

Keeping the bottom card in place; as above but take the half pack
from the bottom of the deck and ensure that the last card goes
back on the bottom.

Moving a card from bottom to top; as above but ensure the last
card is dealt to the top.

In many tricks you will have a selected card replaced at the
centre of the pack. You need to control this card to the top or
bottom. One way is to hold a break in the pack by squeezing it as
the two halves of the pack are reunited. This pushes your own
flesh in the way of the pack coming back together and enables you
to separate the two halves again at the required point. To move
the card to the top, make the break above the selected card - in
other words get your fingertip in the way after the card arrives
on top of the half deck. Now simply cut the deck at the break and
the card arrives at the top. Use the false shuffle to move the
card to the bottom if you need to.

These techniques are the basis of many card tricks and if you
master them - practise them! -you will soon be able to develop
your own magic.

Magic Tricks Revealed

Magic tricks has been around for as long as we can remember. Remember the big names like David Copperfield and David Blaine who brought magic to another new dimension. Seeing is believing. David Copperfield brought stage magic to new heights while Blaine ruled the streets with his new concept of street magic, performing up close in from of audiences grabbed from the streets.

I presume you are also interested in magic tricks to be reading this article. To the newbie, you might be wondering where should you start. Traditionally, the good place to find tricks would be the library to pick up a book lined with dozens of free tricks. Nowadays, you might be using the internet but there is also a problem. The problem is you do not know which site is the one you really need. You will find one soon enough.

The most common tools of magic tricks would be coins and cards. Coins are everywhere in your daily lives and a deck of cards are readily available off the shelves of convenient stores. For both of these tricks, sleight of hand is important. To the layman, it simply means card and coin manipulation methods to make things appear as what you want the audience to think it is.

The official brand for poker card magic is Bicycle. Bicycle brand decks and cards are what magicians use to perform as it is specially crafted for its purpose and they also produce special gimmick cards in the same brand. As for coin props, the official currency is the US coin. Magic shops sell some gimmicked US coins.

Next, let me share with you some tips to pick up magic fast for the beginner. Firstly, choose a trick that you find it impressive and want to perform. Second, do not rush to impress when you are not fully prepared and will give the trick away. Thirdly, get the required props of the required quality. Like I mentioned, not all poker cards are the same, Bicycle poker cards have special air cushioned finish that makes them extra smooth and good to use for magic tricks. Do not use lousy quality cards and expect to do a good trick. Last but not least is practice. Practice and practice until you are 100% familiar with the trick. Also, please practice in front of the mirror to see what your audience sees.

Hope all these helped in one way or another.

Free Magic Tricks - Where to Find Them

When you're just starting out, it can be very easy to spend a lot of money of various tools of the magician's trade. Then add the expense of buying training materials, and all of a sudden you can spend heaps without even having learnt a trick!

The good news is that you can start learning to be a magician with free magic tricks. And if you choose carefully, you can choose magic tricks that don't require a whole lot of props, or only need things you probably already have around your house. This is certainly the case with card tricks.

So where do you find free magic tricks? Here are a few ideas to get you started:

- the library
- the internet
- friends

With so much information available at your fingertips on the internet, sometimes it's easy to forget your local library. Most library networks will have at least a few magic trick books in their catalogue. This can be a really good starting point, because you can flip through the book, pick a trick or two that you like the look of and which don't require a lot of props, and then have a go at performing them. A magic book is a much easier way of checking out a whole lot of options you've possibly never even thought of, then using that information to search the internet for free information or videos about those particular tricks.

The internet is an obvious place to find free magic tricks. With so much information available, it's pretty easy to find something. Just do a basic search and you'll come up with loads of options. Of course, it may be better if you have an idea of what sort of free magic trick you'd like to find, so that you can target your search more effectively. For example, search for free magic card tricks, if that's what interests you.

The other great thing about the internet is You Tube. There are a huge number of videos there that you can watch for free. Again, if you can be a little more specific in your search request, you can avoid wasting hours trawling through amateur videos that won't teach you anything. You should be able to find a few instructional videos if you keep your eyes open.

Finally, it might be worth asking your friends if they have any experience with magic, or perhaps have a relative who does. If you can locate a magician who's willing to spend an hour or two helping you master some basic tricks for free, then you've really struck gold.

Learning to be a magician is a wonderful way to build your self confidence and entertain friends and family. So if you can try it out for minimum cost with the help of a few free magic tricks, you will soon work out if magic is for you without spending a fortune.

Here's How to Do Two Magic Tricks

Never let slip how a magic trick is performed, that is part of the secrecy surrounding even an easy magic trick. Today there are lots of books and video clips on the Internet where you can find out how a magic trick is done. It would seem that this would kill off all magic - after all, to have magic tricks revealed by Googling them makes a magician of everyone, does it not?

Surprisingly, that's when you, as an amateur magician, can astound and amaze your friends! Most of us have very little training in logical thinking, and are easily fooled. Almost against our will we all like to be deceived, if it is done in an entertaining manner. Remember, people are basically the same as they were a hundred years ago, or five hundred years ago. Just as Italians in Florence in 1677 were amazed by a street magician picking a rabbit out of a hat, so are we baffled when a street entertainer makes a card disappear.

Here's a trick involving cards - a volunteer picks out a card and gives it to you. You do not look at it, but can still pick it out after the pack has been shuffled. Turn the cards over, and pick out the card they choose! The secret? Once they've picked a card, you take it from them - with the back to you - and press your thumb nail into the card at one corner. This will make an indentation in the card, easy for you to feel! Number one of two magic tricks revealed - simple? Yes. Effective? You bet!

Another simple, but stunningly effective trick is the "Ash Trick". Have someone write the name of a person on piece of paper, burn the paper, rub the ashes into your arm and presto - the name appears! The secret?

The person writing the name is given a clip board with several papers on. The name they wrote will be faintly visible on the paper underneath, and with practice you will be able to read that quickly and secretly. You will learn to divert peoples attention, and quickly write the name with a small piece of soap on your arm. The ash will stick to the writing and the name appears "as if by magic"!

Two magic tricks revealed - basically very simple. Just remember, practice, practice and more practice! You must be able to perform without thinking about the trick!

Download Magic Tricks - The New Age

Magic has come a long way. In the old days magic used to be custom made, then came the magic shops and with the boom of the internet you can download magic tricks in seconds, without having to go to the magic shop or wait for your trick to arrive in the post. Okay, if you want to get a magic prop you are going to have to wait but if you enjoy studying the art of magic or find your self teachable and have a will to learn you can download some great magic tricks.

I must warn you that some do require a some skill like having to be able to manipulate coins or cards, so a great idea if starting out is to find out if the trick is at an advanced, intermediate or basic level.

Some downloads for the basic level mostly consist of close up tricks that can be learnt in no time, but if you think of the magicians rules there it states that magic must be practiced and perfected so even if the trick is a basic one it has the power to be one of the best effects that you have.

Intermediate level are tricks that may require some slight of hand, so if you have had a few years practicing the basics, and you are really getting into magic you could start to think about getting into some more complicated routines and slights, at this level you will need some showman ship for now its time to get into using what you learnt in the past and to use it in routine that even have a platter while doing a trick like the 3 card Monty where a story line accompanies the trick.

Now the advanced level is something special this is when you have decide to become an icon in the world of magic let it be in your hometown or let it be world wide, at this level you should understand the fundamentals of magic and have a vast knowledge of magic, where if you were faced with some of the best magicians having a conversation you would understand and be able to participate in the conversation for I can tell you one thing have you ever seen a room full of magicians, well we live for what we do and the only thing we want to talk about is magic.

Once you cross these lines you life changes to be the most magical of all human beings and what a journey it is...

The one thing that I find that makes magicians go back to being a hobby magician is the lack of theater classes once they have the skill and the show is set to go and they walk on stage doing fine handling the crowd not a bit of stage fright and half way threw the show you lose the audience and the show starts to drag that is when good theater classes (acting School) is a must for every magician that wants to become a real magician.

Argent Magic Tricks

Many magicians as to use money as an accessory in the execution of the magic. Towers of Silver Magic with coins and banknotes, prove very popular with magicians and spectators. But why is this?

In particular, the pieces are popular accessories for magicians to use. They are readily available and there are a wide variety of magic that can be performed with them. As the towers of cards, there are a wide variety of skills involved and obvious tricks work tips to those sometimes involving difficult and complex sleight of hand moves.

Emotional response to towers of magic of money

All the world today, he likes or not, is obsessed with money. Our lives revolve around it. Many of us dream of having lots of it. Its a symbol of status and the key that can be used for virtually any desirable in your life.

Perhaps for this reason, when money is used in magic, spectators invest a little more emotions in the effect that they would normally with a tour card for example. Especially if you are using money own them. For example, if you take a note of someone and would resolve a ticket torn and restored, the chances are at this moment the viewer believes that their invoice is really torn, you will get a strong emotional response from the Viewer. The viewer can respond emotionally if they believe that their money is destroyed because they see it as a desirable value which belongs to them and which is destroyed.

It is the emotional investment behind the towers of magic of money that makes them so powerful. If you compare this with a playing card torn and restored, while the spectators may be impressed by the effect, the emotional reaction is not so strong that the item being destroyed is of little interest to them.

3 Quick Magic Tricks You Can Learn Right Now

Have you ever wanted to try some quick magic tricks to amaze your family and friends? Did you ever think learning these tricks would be too time consuming or difficult? Well, think again! Here are the instructions for several magic tricks that can get you started.

Before we begin, it will be helpful to remember that just because these are quick magic tricks, does not mean they don't involve a level of commitment on your part. With all tricks, a solid understanding of the principles involved in the illusion, as well as some time spent practicing, will go a long way toward perfecting your performance. Quick magic tricks never mean a sacrifice in quality.

1) Mind Reading

This trick is very easy to master and will give new magicians a boost of confidence when they see the surprise on the faces of those in the audience. For this quick magic trick, you will need 9 coins, a friend and some practice. The general idea is that you will be able to tell which coin was selected by reading the person's mind.

Arrange the coins in a pattern of 3 across by 3 down. Your friend should have a coaster and a drink nearby. With your eyes closed, or your back to the audience, ask someone to point to a coin. Your friend will then move his glass to a corresponding part of the coaster, whether it's top left, bottom right etc. You will then look into the eyes of the person who selected the coin and be able to identify it immediately.

This is a fun and one of the very quick magic tricks. Someone may figure out the secret, but until they do, your mind reading abilities will be applauded.

2) Ice Breath

Dragons breathe fire, but can you breathe ice? In this quick magic tricks, you need a cup that you can not see through, a few ice cubes and a small amount of water. The idea is that you will breathe on the water and turn it into ice.

The key to this trick is in the preparation. Place a sponge at the bottom of the cup and put the ice cubes on top. Now, you're ready to face the audience. Tell them you will pour water into the cup and make ice. Put about an inch of water in the cup and blow. Wait a few seconds and then dump out the ice cubes.

3) Crafty Card Trick

With a deck of cards, you can do quick magic tricks anytime and anywhere. Before facing the audience, place all four sixes on top of the deck. Count them out into one pile. Next, count out six cards and lay them in a separate pile.

Tell you audience you will predict which pile they will select. Write the piles of sixes on a paper and lay it face down on the table. Have your friend choose a pile. Whatever pile is chosen will have sixes, either the four cards with the sixes from each suit or a pile containing six cards.

Have fun trying these quick magic tricks!

To perform professional magic tricks, first develop a professional attitude and then practice until your skills are of professional quality. Remember that a professional is merely someone who has studied and mastered his subject.

In the case of magic, anyone can reach this level with a determined commitment and a desire to be the best they can be. Before going onstage, repeatedly practice your act offstage. And then listen to the applause that you will conjure up!

Card Magic Tricks - Forcing a Card

When you are learning to do magic tricks one of the most important techniques you need to learn is how to force a card on your spectator. Forcing a card is when you get your assistant or helper to choose a specific one, the one you want them to, while letting everyone believe that they had complete control over the decision to choose a particular card. This is important to learn because many magic tricks rely on you being able to force the card you need to.

Using a svengali deck you need to use the riffle display to show all the cards to be different, you ask your spectator to say stop when they are ready to choose their card. Whenever they say stop the top face down card will be one of the duplicate ones in your svengali deck. You then get your helper to take a look at their card and replace it in the same area of the pack.

Once the card has been replaced you should continue your riffle display to show the remaining cards are different and your spectator thinks their card is in the middle of the pack somewhere. This is the point of the trick when you can reveal what their card was or you can make it a little bit more mystical by making a magical gesture over the deck and explaining that the top card is the chosen card.

If you want to be totally mind blowing you simply say to your spectator that the last time you performed this trick forgot what his card was and it was a bit of a letdown so if they could try and remember that their cards is and then name the card that they have chosen this simple trick is guaranteed to entertain your audiences young or old.

How to Do Magic Card Tricks - Impressive and Easy to Learn Card Tricks

A deck of cards or two is one of the handy props for most magicians. For our tutorial, we'll only be using one regular deck of cards. These card tricks are very easy to learn and will impress your friends and family. Ready?

The Super Bending Card Trick

This trick is not for the faint of heart. Oh it's easy to perform but you have to be ready to do something your probably won't want anyone to know. Here's how the trick works.

You place an ordinary paper card on top of your palm. Then, using your mind control power (that's want you want the audience to believe), and with great concentration, you bend the card!

Now comes the yucky part. In order to bend the card, you will need to wet your hand. Moisture makes the card bend. If you are performing, that won't be very easy to do as it will draw attention to your hands. And you probably won't have access to water while performing.

Here's the solution. You pretend that you are rubbing your nose or wiping your face while you distract the audience. Then you lick your hand enough to wet it and transfer moisture to the card that you're bending. Easy right?

Make sure that your hand is warm while performing this trick. It could take a little practice before you can bend the card but be patient. This is one of the easiest card tricks to learn.

Mind Reading With A Card Case

You'll need a standard card deck that's fairly new and the card case. You ask a volunteer from the audience to take all the cards and pick one. You take the rest of the cards and put them back in the case. Then you hold the pack of cards to the volunteer without looking and ask him to put the card back. This requires some theatics on your part to make it look more convincing.

Once the volunteer is done, take the deck and turn your back to the audience. Remove the entire deck from the case halfway through. You'll find that one card it left behind. That's the one the volunteer picked. You can give false guesses once or twice to appear more convincing.

This trick is very easy to learn but still requires some practice to get to the right grip.

Pick A Card, Any Card

This one's really easy. You shuffle a deck of cards and ask a volunteer to pick a card and memorize the exact color, number and suit. Then ask the volunteer to put card back at the top.

You take the entire deck to your back and quickly flip the card at the top. Then you show the audience the bottom of the deck. That way, you're seeing the card that the volunteer picked and the audience is seeing a random card. Ask the audience if that's the card. They'll say no of course.

Now take the card to your back again and flip the top card again - the one that the volunteer picked. That way, the card are all facing down. Take the deck back in front and ask someone to shuffle it. You know what card was picked so it will be easy for you to find that card. Just practice a little and you should be able to perform this trick flawlessly.

Easiest Magic Tricks - Impress Your Audience With Minimal Practice

First and foremost, I'd say that if you want to learn the easiest magic tricks and impress your audience with minimal practice then the fastest and most effective way to easily learn some very impressive tricks is with downloadable video tutorials. The advantages of these are many:

1. They're cheaper than buying DVDs (which probably have too much information for your needs anyway and can cost over $100) Downloads range from under $5 up to $20.

2. You don't have to wait for the mail to deliver your stuff - you can be watching and learning within minutes.

3. Most downloads teach tricks that you can do without having to spend anymore money on props, special card decks, gimmicks etc.

4. You get to watch a full demonstration of the effect free before you commit - so you know exactly what you're getting.

There are books and articles too, of course, but for your needs that can involve quite a high outlay and apart from the fact that the texts can be quite hard to interpret into action without seeing the trick done, again will have far more information than you need, which is just money down the drain.

So, that's one way of learning some easy but good tricks, quickly and with minimal outlay.

The question is, however, with hundreds of downloads available out there, what kind of tricks should you choose? Well, if your main criteria are that the tricks should be easy and quick to learn but still pack a punch then I'd suggest you go for some simple coin vanishes and productions, card swipes and color changes, book test mind-reading and some kind of penetration magic effect like a coin through a bottle. That sort of thing. Not only are these tricks all very visually impressive, but they also require minimal or no set up and can often be performed impromptu with borrowed objects - no fixed props or gimmicks. That's a great advantage and means that you can perform at least a couple of tricks just like that, when anyone asks you. That is one of the best ways to impress and makes your magic trick look really cool and powerful because you 'just did it' close-up and with preparation.

Just a word to end on which is very important. This article is designed to help you if you want to learn the easiest magic tricks and impress your audience with minimal practice but that does not mean...no practice! Even easy tricks need some practice. So it's only fair that i ge you some advice on how to practice your tricks so that you can have them up and running and working for you i the shortest possible time.

I recommend that you learn more than one trick, ideally three to five. Why? Because, when you've done your first trick people are going to be impressed and I guarantee the first thing they'll do is ask you to do it again or to see another one. Well, never do the same trick twice for the same audience on the same day. They'll catch you out the second time because they'll be trying to and you'll turn a cool moment into a silly moment. So what do you do? You say that you won't show them the same trick because you've got something else they'll enjoy - and you do another! Not being able to follow up on your success can really make a good moment deflate, so make sure you've got at least a couple of follow-ups. After that, I think it's fine to back down without any shame.

Okay, you've selected your download tutorials and you've watched the demonstrations and step-by-step instructions. Here's what you should do next:

1. Watch the demonstration and instructions again a couple of times to be sure you understand it.

2. Go through the motions of the trick very slowly to get everything in the right order and to get a 'feel' for the moves.

3. Keep practicing and slowly speeding up. Don't be put off if you make mistakes - it's part of learning!

4. When you feel comfortable that nine times out of ten you can do the trick smoothly and confidently, then check your moves in a mirror.

5. Practice some more.

6. Think of some 'patter' to go with your trick. Avoid telling the audience what will happen next. Stuff like 'I'm going to make the coin disappear' should be avoided. 'Okay. let's see what I can do with the quarter I borrowed from you. It was your quarter, right? And you just saw me put it in this hand, right? And i haven't touched it since? Okay, watch...' You open your hand and the coin is gone!

7. Practice some more with the patter.

8. Get out there and do the trick!

There are a few places these days where you can get downloadable tutorials but my own recommendation is at the end of this article based on experience I know that it's a trustworthy source with the best quality to price ratio you'll find. If you get really into magic and you want to take it further, then my site The Magic Tricks Homepage is the one-stop place for tons of free advice and information to help the serious budding magician make a start. But if what you want is the easiest magic tricks to impress your audience with minimal practice, then following the advice in this article should get you everything you want.
