Magic Tricks - choose a card, any card

How many times have you heard "choose a card, any card.."? Everyone of the total novice experienced pro used this slogan to encourage someone to choose a card. In fact, it is not a bad way to start a card trick; It is what you do after uttering these magic words that determine if you are one of many or one of the few talented.

Good magicians know the value of production of a map of what appears to be a combined bridge carefully. The secret of course, is that even if the bridge can be well mixed, the selected card is followed by the moment wherever it is placed in the bridge. No card counting tips here. My daughter recently showed me a map tour, a friend taught him. It was the eve of old... choice, a map, put the back in a pack of cards, set cards in several rows, point to the row that contains my card and I can take the line a second time when cards are redealt lines even once. My daughter has my card, thank God, but I didn't have the heart or want to tell him that the effect that she showed me was one of the first effects that I learned many years ago.

Unfortunately, the more truly impressive card tricks are not self-working. This is not to say that the self-working card tricks may not be impressive; John Scarne, Karl Fulves and Edward Glassman are three great magicians who have all written books on the subject. But the public is not read their books... Make the other magicians. My first book of "real" magic was "Scarne on card tricks" of John Scarne, and I always return from time to time when I'm working on a new effect.

If you want to be a true success in magic, specifically the magic card, then you must learn some basic sleights. This is what will be your magic separate the typical magic "prison". Magic of the prison? Yes, this is what I call the self-working card tricks that everyone knows. And how do we know these things? In fact, I had a friend who has "forgotten" to pay a ticket, has picked up on a mandate and spent the weekend in jail pending an appearance before a judge. I taught him had just enough on the magic of the card; more specifically, how to perform a double lift and how to control a card to the top of the terrace, it was so far before the other mayhem in terms of capacity that he left his brief incarceration a legend.

He still talks about how everyone, even if they were a public slightly in captivity, is its capability with a card game.

His adventure has taught me something more... If you take the time to master some sleights, you can really "wow" an audience, abeit a small audience with your ability. Learn how to "control" of a map where it is inserted into the deck to the top of the terrace. It is not difficult to learn. Also learn to properly perform a double-lift. Yet again, with a little practice, it is not difficult to learn. Find a good false shuffle, you can control the card towards the top of the terrace and then make it appear as if anything is really fair and random.

Work on what is commonly called a "Wizard force". You can perform some of the most remarkable imaginable effect with the strength of the magician a good, and it is not something that will take weeks of practice to master.

Here are some of the Basic. Armed with the ability to 'control' maps, you can also control the action and literally do card tricks as you go along. Good magicians can say "choose a card - any card", without a clue where they go from there and totally surprising. I you encouraged to learn a thing or two on the basics and see where need you, see how good you can be, and to see how many people you can amaze and impress with your capabilities found.
